Falafel

Recipe of Falafel
Ingredients
1. Chick peas -1.5 cup ( soaked for 8 hours)
2. Onion -1 big
3. Coriander leaves- handful
4. Lemon juice - 1tbsp
5. Garlic cloves-   7 nos.
6. White sesame seeds - 1 tbsp
Ground spices 
1. Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
2. Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
3. Salt to taste
4. Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
5. Black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
Method 
Step 1: Take a grinder jar and put all the ingredients and ground spices. Grind them to a fine paste without using water.
Step 2: Take out the ground paste in a separate bowl.
Step 3: Now add 2 tbsp gram flour and 1/4 tsp cooking soda and mix them well.
Step 4: Now turn the stove on and keep a pan on it. Add cooking oil for frying and let it heat.
Step 5: In the meantime make balls of the ground paste.
Step 6: Now fry these balls on low medium flame till it turns brown.
Falafel is ready . Enjoy it with Hummus (another middle East recipe). The recipe of Hummus will be shared in next post .
