Bread Potato Roll
Ingredients for 3-4 persons
1. Bread 8-10 slices
2. Potato 5 nos. Medium size
3. Onion 1 no. Big
4. Green chillies chopped 3 nos.
5. Salt to taste
6. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
7. Garam Masala powder 1 tsp
8. Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
9. Chat masala 1/2 tsp
10. Coriander leaves.
11. Cooking Oil 2 tablespoon
12. Cumin seed + Mustard seed 1/2 teaspoon
Method
Step 1. Boil the potatoes in pressure cooker till 4-5 whistles.
Step 2. Take out the boiled potatoes peel them off and mash it up.
Step 3. Turn on the stove put a kadhai and add cooking oil in it and let it heat up.
Step 4. Add jeera + mustard seeds and let it crackle. As soon as it starts crackling add chopped onions and green Chillies and mix them well. Cook it on medium flame till the onions gets translucent ( don't make it brown).
Step 5. Add the mashed potatoes
Step 6. Add salt ,turmeric powder, garam Masala, red chillies and chat masala to it and fry them for 5 minutes on medium flame.
Step 7. Turn the stove off and add coriander leaves and mix it well. After mixing take the mixture out and spread it on a plate and leave it.
Step 8. Take some water in a bowl.
Step 9. Take the bread slices and cut off the corners of the bread.
Step 10. Now take these bread slices ,dip them into the water taken in the bowl and press the slices between both the hands so that excess water drains out.
Step 11. Now stuff the potato mixture which you have prepared into each slices and fold the slices in such a way that it takes the shape of an egg.
Step 12. Now turn on the stove put the kadai on it and add oil to it . Let the oil heat up.
Step 13. Now fry the stuffed/ rolled bread and fry them on low flame till they turn golden brown.
Step 14. Take them out . Your Bread potato roll is ready.
